Bay Village in Cleveland Magazine!
November 26, 2001 The site WRIS built for the City of Bay Village - www.cityofbayvillage.com was featured in the "CityLife | City Sites" section of the November issue of Cleveland Magazine. Five municipal sites were ranked based on load time, sales pitch, best gimmick, contents included, and general likes and dislikes. The Bay Village site received the highest ranking of all five which included Beachwood, Berea, Cleveland Heights, and Lakewood. The judges thought highly of the electronic postcard section, the user friendly navigation, and the color coded calendar. In describing the site, one judge said, "beautiful, picturesque photos! They did a great job creating a visually warm, welcoming site." The only two points of contention - search engine standings and the absense of the City Council Agenda - were already in the works when the article was being printed! The Bay Village site was prepared and submitted to the search engines in October - and has already secured several key rankings in AOL, Netscape, Google, Lycos, and Yahoo. And, our most recent project with Bay Village is the addition of Council Agenda download capabilities to the Governent section of the site.
