IncentRev is an online gift certificate program that allows broadcast media clients to generate revenue directly from their websites. Here’s how it works: service and hospitality businesses give local radio stations gift certificates in exchange for media exposure. The radio stations then promote these businesses on the air by selling the certificates online for half price. IncentRev hired and worked with WRIS to develop the customized web application that makes it all possible. Built completely from scratch to fit IncentRev’s unique sales model, this web application allows radio stations to create their own storefronts and launch local offers based on specific start times. When listeners buy certificates from the stations’ websites, they are automatically added to that station’s mailing list in the email engine. If an offer still has over 50% stock 24 hours after the start time, an email message is automatically sent to further promote the offer. Reduced prices for certificates can also be assigned in order to further stimulate sales. The application allows IncentRev to login to a global Content Manager to add/edit radio station clients, manage gift certificate promotions, offer customer service, generate accounting reports and contact radio stations. A separate Account Management Console (AMC) allows media clients to login and manage the look and feel of their storefronts, upload account information for their local merchants, view gift certificate inventory, set up a sales calendar and send out promotional emails.
