The main goal for this site was to provide current residents, potential homeowners, and visitors with around the clock access to important city information such as community events, recreational facilities, local government information, and directions. Information is presented and organized in a readily accessible manner and was carefully engineered to appeal to a broad audience. The content manager was designed to make updating time-sensitive information quick and easy, even for City staff members with little or no technical knowledge. The events featured on the calendar are color-coded according to four main categories - enabling visitors to customize the calendar according to their interests. The careful attention to detail and organization stand to eliminate routine inquiries on Bay Village phone lines.
