Project Planning
The WRIS Project Process begins and ends with Project Planning.
Initially, Planning encompasses all of the areas essential to starting a
project correctly:
Development Meetings
By meeting with our clients and discussing in detail their goals and
objectives for their new and redesigned website, we are not only able to
get their input, but also to provide feedback and discuss options that
may not have been considered beforehand. Our experience and expertise
allows us to offer cost-effective and targeted solutions to any client
concerns. The result of those meetings is the Project Plan.
Project Plan
This 'blueprint of the website' describes in detail not only each page
or feature planned, but also the functionality and processes behind
them. By clearly outlining this information in a written document,
each section can be discussed, analyzed, and confirmed as accurately
representing the upcoming website. Once final approval is achieved, the
Project Plan acts as the reference guide for moving forward with
development.
And throughout the course of a website's development, Planning includes
the integral role of Project Management:
Project Management
The project manager not only acts as liaison between the client and
WRIS, but also provides project supervision and quality assurance to
ensure that budget parameters are maintained and work efficiency is
monitored. When the site or specific components are completed, the
project manager makes sure that testing is thorough and completed before
delivery to the client.
