Spam and Virus Filtering Support
Spam filtering is included with your email account. When your email accounts were created, spam filtering was also setup.
When you download your email for the first time, there will be an email from SpamSupport@wris.net.
Included in this email is information on how to use the spam filter and your temporary password to login to the spam filtering service.
***Please note: when you click on the link in the email you will be taken to your login page. It may appear that your password has been entered for you. This is NOT the case. You will need to enter the temporary password from the email. The easiest (and most accurate) way to accomplish this, is by copying the password from the email and pasting it into the password box on the login page.
Our spam filtering service will quarantine any email that appears to be spam, or includes a virus.
When you login to the web-based spam filter, you will see all quarantined messages and viruses.
You can choose to deliver and "whitelist" a message that is from a trusted sender, or you can remove
the messages from the quarantine.
